Please note that standard COVID protocols still apply at the Brandywine Horse Shows, including wearing a facial covering when not riding and social distancing.
As a USEF-Licensed competition, Brandywine must operate in accordance with the USEF COVID-19 Action Plan. This plan is based on federal, state and local regulations, WHO recommendations, CDC guidelines, and USEF requirements. View full plan HERE and the Action Plan FAQs HERE.
The following COVID-19 guidelines must be adhered to while competing or attending the Brandywine Horse Shows. Additionally, all Federal, State, and local laws that may be applicable must be followed. These laws are subject to change and are out of the control of the Organizing Committee (OC). The OC reserves the right to change the guidelines below as needed, when/if it becomes necessary. Failure to follow guidelines by anyone in attendance may result in their immediate disqualification and elimination from the Brandywine Horse Shows, as well as sanctions from the governing bodies of our sport. No refunds will be provided to anyone disqualified for failure to follow these guidelines.
If you are competing at Brandywine or are one of their essential support staff, an official, volunteer, or staff member, you must be able to assure the OC that neither you nor anyone in your household:
Anyone answering YES to ANY of the above questions is NOT permitted to compete or attend the Brandywine Horse Shows. Additionally, anyone answering YES should contact the appropriate member of the OC to notify them of their condition.
Waiver for Entry to Show Grounds
Every person entering the Brandywine show grounds will be required to hand in a completed USEF waiver to the security staff at the time of their initial temperature check. A color-coded wristband will be affixed once the waiver is received, and the wristband must be worn until you leave the Brandywine show grounds for the last time that day. Wristbands will be replaced daily after each temperature check. If the wristband is removed, that individual will be required to complete another USEF waiver to obtain an additional wristband.
Please be prepared and arrive with a completed waiver for every individual in your party. This will expedite the arrival process.
